But below is the link about issues and answers, in case you missed it. If you can’t locate the email address post, I’ll be happy to add it. If not, I believe Skip had included a response in your thread here to email him if you’re continuing to have trouble. Apparently there are fewer than 12 people keeping all this going (it’s in the thread), so their largest priority is keeping the channels up and running, and sometimes even adding channels. PlayOn Skip addressed things as clearly as there is information right now. The following thread addresses various issues and came up in the last couple days. I’m looking in Roku Media Player right now, to try to help Roku Media player has been a little slow lately, but my guess is the amount of files! The PlayOn Cloud method doesn’t see your media library currently (PlayOn home tab was a pretty recent addition to the PlayOn Cloud app actually), that’s where the Roku Media player workaround comes in, for the yellow media library box, just remember the boxes in Roku media player are alphabetical and shows boxes for each channel enabled in PlayOn Home, so in my case it’s between Hulu and Netflix. Fall season is beginning (so time to fall behind haha). My guy and I have been doing mostly the PlayOn Cloud method the last few days. When that happens, your video from your PlayOn recording will usually have the ad skip, and mostly subtitles. It’s purpose is to act as a receiver (wording by support and/or PlayOn Skip) so that when you cast to the Roku either by the Cast button in the PlayOn Home/PlayOn Desktop client on the computer Or my the PlayOn Cloud app on your mobile device, it should cause the PlayOn Cloud splash screen to come up. I joined it for PlayOn stuff, so other forums are occasional for me.Īs I put in the thread you responded to, and as has been in a couple responses, PlayOn cloud isn’t accessible by the Roku remote when it’s installed. It sounds like you’re having a difficult time!! Also, it seems like some people are having issues with Roku here and there, though I haven’t checked that Reddit in the last few days. I really wanted the subtitles but I'm learning to live without them. It never behaved twice in a row so I never bothered to write it down. The rest of the time, it would take me to a list of channels, not my recordings. Maybe 3, 4 times? Only until I realized I was going to have to remove it and start over because it only took me to my recordings once. ![]() I almost never saw the yellow Media Library. I still had the website up and it still said it was installed so I'd get rid of that, too. Every time I made a change to anything on the Roku Home Page, I would reboot Roku. On the website, Roku says it was installed. ![]() I have seen so many programming loops and errors tonight (with Roku, not PlayOn). IF YOU WANT TO USE IT, DON'T DELETE PLAYON CLOUD FROM ROKU. ![]()
